How to connect to CBC-WIFI from an Android device
1. Find and select the “Settings” app. It may look different depending on your device manufacturer.

2. Tap “Network & internet”

3. Tap “Internet”

4. Select "CBC-WIFI"

5. Login with your CBC username and password in the Identity and Password boxes, respectively.
a. Students: Your email user name (everything before '@students.columbiabasin.edu') and password
b. Staff/Faculty: Your network user name and password

6. Make sure that the settings match what is displayed above. The non-bold items should be correct automatically.
- EAP method = PEAP
- Phase 2 authentication = MSCHAPV2
- CA certificate = Use system certificates
- Minimum TLS Version = TLS v1.0
- Online Certificate Status = Do not verify
- Domain = columbiabasin.edu
- Identity = your student/staff username
- Anonymous identity = blank / anonymous
- Password = your student/staff password
Note: you shouldn't change anything under "Advanced options".
7. Tap “Connect”
Congratulations! Your Android device is now connected to CBC-WIFI. If you need additional help or experience issues, you can stop by the Student Helpdesk in the library.
Troubleshooting
If your Wi-Fi connection was working previously but is not now, the first step is to forget the network and try reconnecting. To forget the network, go into settings and select the Wi-Fi network you wish to forget, then select "Forget". Then follow the steps to reconnect.
