CBC-WIFI Configuration for iOS (iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad)

Procedure:

1.    Tap the “Settings” icon

2.    Tap “Wi-Fi”

3.    Tap “CBC-WIFI”

4.    Login with your username and password

a.    Students:  Your email user name (i.e. everything before the @) and password

b.   Staff/Faculty:  Your network user name and password

5.    Tap “Join”

6.    Tap “Trust”

Congratulations! Your device is now configured to use the CBC-WIFI wireless network.

Troubleshooting

If your WIFI connection was working previously but is not now, the first step is to forget the network and try reconnecting.  To forget the network, go into settings and select the WIFI network you wish to forget, then select "Forget This Network" from the top of the screen. A confirmation dialogue will pop up so just select "Forget" on that screen.

You may also come across a message saying the certificate is not trusted and you will have to tell your phone to trust it. When the window comes up, select Trust in the upper right of the screen.
