Getting Help in Canvas

Overview

You can get help from CBC Ed Tech right in Canvas! Here's how:

Computer or Mobile Browser

Click the Help icon on the Canvas Global Navigation Menu on the left side of your screen.

The Help Menu slides out. From the Help Menu, choose Get Help from CBC Ed Tech.

The Help Request Form slides out. Add a subject, description of what you need help with, and how soon you'll need an answer. Include specifics like:

  • The course title 
  • Your instructor’s name 
  • The assignment, page, or Canvas feature you’re having a problem with
  • As much detail as you can, like when the problem started and anything you’ve tried to solve it.

Press Submit Ticket. Your request goes to our team. We'll connect with you by email. We can also set up a time to speak with you by Zoom or telephone.

Canvas Student App (Mobile)

Tap the hamburger icon (three lines) at the top left corner of the Canvas Dashboard.

The Global Navigation Menu slides out. Tap the Help icon.
