03. Listening to Text with TextAid

 

Open a document from your TextAid Personal Library or create a New Text document (See the article, “How do I open a document in my TextAid Personal Library?”).

Listen button

Click the Listen button to play from the beginning. Alternatively, you can click and drag the mouse to highlight a particular section of text on the page.

Next, click Listen to listen to that text only.

To select a page, find the page on the page thumbnails view or the outline view. Click the page (page thumbnail view) or the heading of the page (outline view). Toggle back and forth between page thumbnail and outline views by clicking the button:

The page thumbnails view shows a small picture of pages in the document. The outline view shows the heading of each page.

Select the page you wish to have TextAid read. Click the Listen button to play from the beginning or click and drag the mouse to highlight a particular section of text on the page. Click listen to Listen to that text only.
