How to Download and Sign In to Zoom

Follow this procedure to download and install Zoom on your computer for the first time. Note that you will only need to do this if you need to host Zoom meetings. You do not need to sign in to join someone else’s Zoom meeting.

  1. Go to https://zoom.us/support/download to download Zoom client (the download will automatically start, follow the prompts in your browser to run the installer)


     
  2. Once it’s installed, click “Sign In”.


     
  3. Click “Sign in with SSO”


     
  4. Enter columbiabasin in the domain field and click “Continue”


     
  5. You’ll be taken to the CBC sign-in page. Sign in with your CBC email and password

  6. If you're signing in for the first time, Zoom requires you to confirm your email. Click "Confirm your email address"

  7. You'll receive an email with the activation link shortly. Click "Activate Account" to activate your Zoom account

  8. Click "Sign in with SSO" on the following screen

  9.  Zoom application will open. Depending on your browser, you may have to click "Open Link" in a popup box to open Zoom. Check the box "Always allow https://columbiabasin.zoom.us to open zoommtg links"


     
  10. You’ll be taken to the Zoom’s main screen. Use this screen to start or schedule your meetings or chat with other CBC employees.
